Discipleship Hour

Sunday Mornings | 9:45-10:45am

In order to encourage and equip you to grow and live out your faith as a disciple in EVERY aspect of your life, we have dedicated time on Sunday mornings for devotion and obedience to God's Word with age-appropriate discipleship for all ages between services from 9:45-10:45am. A life of discipleship is about the journey along the way with those God has placed in our life, so that together, we grow as His loved, redeemed people in Jesus Christ. We’d love to have you join us on this journey of discipleship, and together we can continue Jesus’ Kingdom work in and through Gloria Dei!

Parent Groups

Join a parent group on Sunday mornings that ties in the same lessons our kids and students are learning. Parents of infants-4th grade meet at the Life Center tables (led by Lara Brumm). Parents of 5th-12th grade meet in Student Center classroom 198 (led by Mendy Stewart).

A Study of the Book of Genesis

LC 210/212

As the opening book of the Bible, Genesis serves as the historical and theological cornerstone of salvation history. It narrates the creation of the universe, the early history of humankind, and the beginnings of the Jewish people through the patriarchs. Join us in the first half of 2026 to explore the Book of Genesis and its importance to contemporary Christian people. Led by Richard Zalesak.

What Lutherans Believe

Chapel

You're invited to join us for an engaging exploration into the essence of Lutheran Christianity! Have you ever pondered what distinguishes Lutherans from other Christian denominations like Roman Catholics, Baptists, or Episcopalians? Look no further! Our class delves into the core tenets of Lutheran theology, firmly rooted in Biblical principles.

At Gloria Dei, we're excited to offer an opportunity for open discussion and inquiry. Whether you're curious about our worship practices, seeking clarity on where the LCMS stands on contemporary issues, or simply desiring deeper theological insights, this class is for you.

Join Keith Chuvala for interactive sessions where your voice matters. Feel free to actively participate in discussions or quietly absorb the enriching dialogue. With topics rotating every 1 to 3 weeks, there's always something new to explore. All are welcome to embark on this enlightening journey with us. Come, join the conversation!
