A New Look for High School Ministry: FUEL

NASSAU BAY, TX – Last Wednesday, our Family Ministry team debuted their new midweek student praise night: FUEL (Fellowship Unites Every Life). The launch night was packed with live worship, time in God's Word, and plenty of food, inviting high schoolers to recharge and find encouragement for the days ahead.

Between demanding classes, sports practices, jobs, and daily stress, FUEL offers students a fun, welcoming space centered on God’s Word. High schoolers can experience worship led by our worship team, hear an inspiring devotional, and connect through small groups. Everyone is welcome - no matter which school you attend or where you are in your faith journey.

For parents and community members, FUEL provides meaningful ways to get involved. If you are interested in ways to serve, contact Makayla Adams, our Student Ministries Director.

The debut’s success was no accident. Launching a midweek student night was a major movement led by both our dedicated Family Ministry staff and an incredible team of student leaders. From spreading the word on social media to hosting lunch tables at local high schools, the Gloria Dei team was ambitious—and it paid off. Nearly 30 students, many visiting GDLC for the very first time, gathered to refuel and prepare for the days ahead.

FUEL meets every Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Main Building. Feeling worn out? Come refuel this week at Gloria Dei!
